Stone building.

Constructed from cardboard 5mm thick, dressed with P.V.A to help the cement mix stick well . Foam was used for the decorative roofing finials . A thin layer of card used for the bargeboard onto which the finials were placed. Then capping off with a foam strip. The windows are made from sliced matchsticks glued to acetate sheets dyed with creosote.

The Foam is floor underlay
The scenic backdrop gives a sense of depth

Painting the model with P.V.A pasting on cement then when dried applying two coats of light biege, although the camera shows it as yellow in one photo due to the angle.

Applying the various signage. Building the windows with slices of matchsticks.
Weathering the model

Small details like notes on the door make all the difference
